Is it time to silence your alerts?

We have all experienced the thrill of having messages appear on your phone. Someone has sent you a new message on messenger, your birthday has come about and everyone that you have not heard from all year decides to wish you a happy birthday, your yoga app has a new update on the crow pose, and you can't wait to try it. Your day is full of sounds, little red icons, and vibrations. The summary of all these things happening to us daily is that we are being conditioned. Let me give you a little background on what I mean.

When we are born and come out of our mother's womb, we are looking for signals. We see the signs of light, sound, touch, rocking, and movement as our lifelines. We become adept at taking in those sounds as we develop. We learn about yes and no and who the people in our lives are and who are not. We learn what it feels to speak and the tones that come from that along with the balancing act that is learning to put your head up, crawl, walk or even fall. We take into...

Finding peace and meaning in movement

Often time the great sages spoke about doing without doing, seeing without seeing and being without being. However, many times individuals will take that to heart and won't take action or practice their forms as needed. The most prominent lesson here is that while stillness is the practice, there is always movement. Actual non-movement leads to rigor mortis in which no life escapes you. To pull that away from the superficial and ideological I would like to begin with this question.

Can movement and stillness exist at the same time?

It is a complex process to get into finite terms but the reality of the matter is that yes it can. Let's take sleep for instance and divulge the aspects that you are still for the majority of the night if you sleep well, yet, deep down there is a stillness of breath and fluid movement that is keeping you alive while allowing your body to detoxify and heal itself. Hence the power of breathing and breath movements such as of that in Qigong and other...

The 3 Levels To A Warriors Mindset: Part 2

Hello everyone,
Today we will be discussing with you how to use your mind as an anchor instead of an accelerant when processing thoughts through your day. The process is named Mu Shin.

Mu Shin means ‘Mind Without Mind,’ or the state of No Mind. Mu Shin is a state of spontaneity that allows immediate action without conscious thought. “Mu” means “emptiness.” The mind is empty in the sense that it is void of fear, anger, worries and various other preoccupations. The absence of these distractions creates the space for increased awareness and clarity. Mushin is often referred to as “the zone,” – a relaxed state of peak performance.

Have you ever seen anyone in the zone? If you look back at famous fighters such as Mike Tyson in his prime or Baseball and Football player, Bo Jackson who played professionally at both levels. You can see the zone. It is not a reflex, but an anchor point of being. Learning to do without doing is something...

The Journey Of Simplification

Hi everyone,

I've been moving my list over to a new system, and have had a few hiccups as far as sending out e-mails, so if you have not heard from me in a while, then that is why. I have my team working on it, so hopefully, this will be resolved soon. That mostly has brought me to the topic today of simplification.

I have been working on simplifying my life in many ways, from bill management to environmental management. You may remember from my previous newsletter that I spoke about how your environment controls what manifest as stress or disease in your life.

In the latest conversations I have had with clients, I have begun to see that there is a true relationship with the key factors of stress in 3 areas that are prominent. Those areas are the stress you experience daily, the people you keep in your life, and the environmental stimuli you experience be it food or places you roam. These are critical factors and something that we as individuals need to take into account.

You...

Mythical Guru Syndrome

I’ve been online promoting health and wellness for quite some time, and I can tell you I have seen about everything come about in the last six years. Guru’s in all shapes and forms promising you the gold at the end of the rainbow if you spend 25k, 50k, 100k or more a month or year with them.

They will supposedly teach you the exact systems that will help you look better, feel better, work better or even make more money than they do in no time flat. I can quote a few that will talk about “Knawledge” or the like, and yes I did intentionally misspell that, because said individual creeps most folks out with his way of being and damn well it is not a judgment, just reactions I have heard from others.

In the last few years, I can tell you that the true gurus do not self-profess and they are quite humble about where they come from in the world. Folks like to say, well you need to position yourself as the expert, but there is positioning, and then there is straight...

Stagnation and disease: Part 3- The deep channels

In the following, I will discuss how I arrived at the practice of Qigong and why it changed the way I saw things in my life. It was not an instant miracle, but it did progressively get better. I will do my best to detail what was going on and how I began to overcome it.

Back in 2010, I remember waking up with what seemed to be a hangover. I can tell you that it was not a great sight as I was trying to find my way through the hallway but I was running into things. What I didn't know at the time was that my eyes were doing their own thing and the full matrix inside of my body was having a hard time calculating distance. It reminded me of the Bozo show where they played the grand prize game. You remember the show right? It was the one where they had a kid come in, and he tried to toss a ping pong into six different buckets, and if he reached bucket number 6, he won a 100 dollar bill and a bunch of prizes along the way. Sadly, the only awards I won were bruises. Besides that, I was...

Stagnation & Disease: Part 2- Stagnation Vortex

Hello again friends,
Today I would like to speak to you about stagnation and how it can be the unknown silent killer of your overall health.

Consider your body is a liquid life form exchanging fluids at every turn. It doesn’t matter if it is hormones, blood, lymph, neurological chemicals all while holding itself together. The human body is amazing.

Understanding also that the body has over 600 muscles that work on train tracks called anatomy trains that dictate not only tensile function but also meridian flow to enhance bipedal motion. You should be amazed at how you as a human remain not only alive but also at how you work in your daily life. Adding the undercurrent of meridians that essentially are the nerve pathways coming from every elemental organ system you have in your body, then you can see how complicated we truly are as humans.

Lastly, the opposable thumbs make for a new neuron track that is only available in the upper plexus of the body in people, especially for fine...

Stagnation & Disease: Part 1- Hijacking

One of the biggest issues that cause disease in the body is that of stagnation. You see stagnation can occur in two ways in your life.

It can go from macro to micro and also the inverse. That is why the thoughts you think, the people you keep and the food you eat all matter. It is triangular in nature, and it makes up a small map of us as humans.

Today I’d like, to begin with, a concept introduced in the book Psycho-Cybernetics known as limbic hijacking. In a world that popularizes the constant growth of data and bombardment of the human organism, this center of the body has been hijacked by suppressive forces indoctrinated into us as children, teens, adults and virtually every relational variant in-between.

We have been programmed either to take orders, know our roles, or suppress the need to excel beyond a given standard. This leads to stagnation and congestion inside of the upper dantian. The upper dantian will become overfilled with a constitution of stagnant energy,...
